Juniper Hill PTA

About Juniper Hill PTA

The PTA have always been a significant part of school life at Juniper Hill and have been an active committee since the school opened back in 1968. Currently we are known for our very popular treat days (after school doughnuts – yum!) our fun-fuelled school discos and the huge Christmas fair which involves every class hosting their own activity for families to enjoy.

We are an inclusive team and aim to encourage more support and involvement from extended families. We are all so busy as Mums, Dads and Carers and it will make such a difference to our fundraising if we’re able to engage Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and even neighbours in volunteering for and/or attending our events.

Our Objective

It has been agreed that this academic year’s funds will go towards plans for improving the outdoor space including the renovation of our adventure playground to make it a safe, exciting and practical area that the children can enjoy on a daily basis. We cannot wait to see families getting involved in helping and supporting our events so that we can all share a sense of achievement when we hear about our children playing in this lovely outdoor facility in the near future.

Although our main objective is to raise vital funds for Juniper Hill, we are also keen to support the school and our children’s teachers in other ways such as:

·        Promoting communication by providing a great face to face social network for parents.

·        Helping to resolve the ongoing parking situation and safety concerns by involvement in the new transport plan.

·        Volunteering our time for maintenance projects and improvements to facilities.
