On Wednesday 21st January we had a First Aid focus day across Juniper with each year group looking at different areas of first aid. We were joined by a team from The Thames Valley Air Ambulance. They took an assembly informing us of their important role in providing emergency support across three counties. They worked with all the Year 5 and 6 children on CPR techniques and on using a defibrillator. The team were very
pleased with the children’s knowledge and the questions they asked. It was their first time doing CPR training in a primary school and they were impressed with the
exemplary behaviour and attentiveness of the children.
