Jays Rangers Day

Armed with loppers, hand-saws and heaps of energy, the children worked tirelessly to cut back encroaching vegetation, preventing scrubby bushes and trees from taking over and allowing a rich diversity of wildflowers and insects to thrive. Their efforts are particularly important for butterfly species, including the stunning Adonis Blue, which the Jays have proudly adopted as their own..
