Year 2 had a fantastic time celebrating “Pizza Day” as part of their DT topic. The children explored different ingredients, learned about food preparation and hygiene and created their very own delicious pizzas from scratch. Alongside the cooking, they took part in a range of fun pizza‑themed activities, including designing their own pizza boxes and learning about where ingredients come from. It was a brilliant, hands‑on day of creativity, teamwork and tasty learning!
