Last Friday, nine of our girls from Year 4 took part in a gymnastics festival at Wycombe High School. Full of energy and excitement, our gymnasts took to the floor with some superb moves and really impressed the coaches taking them through the activities.
The girls started off warming up with a few forward rolls, handstands and cartwheels to get going before practicing a routine in which they performed on the schools’ new spring flooring which all the children were very much looking forward to.
The girls put together a variation of moves, kicking off with a synchronised backwards roll into a front support, to a few rolls and holds all together. Towards the end of the performance, each of them showed some real flair as they executed individual moves, which included some aerials, cartwheels, round offs and finished off with a double flick. Juniper were last to perform and really stole the show!
To sum up, our gymnasts thoroughly enjoyed the day and were buzzing to be able to take part in the event to show off some outstanding actions. An excellent display from you all girls! Everyone was very impressed with your athleticism and skill! Fantastic effort!
