Year 3 enjoyed a wonderfully successful trip to Neasden Temple where the children were truly blown away by the rich history of the Mandir and the incredible craftsmanship behind its creation. They had the special opportunity to experience a real prayer service and, if they wished, join in with the rhythmic clapping offered to the Hindu gods. The engaging exhibition helped the children deepen their understanding of Hinduism in a child-friendly way, allowing them to gather facts and act as inquisitive detectives.
It was brilliant to hear the children draw on their prior knowledge as they explored the Mandir with curiosity and confidence. We were incredibly impressed by the children’s respect, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn throughout the visit.
