Admissions

Admission to the Reception Classes

Juniper Hill is a Community school accommodating children from age four to eleven. The catchment area is the eastern part of Flackwell Heath. Exact information can be found by using the postcode checker on the Buckinghamshire County Council website:

https://services.buckscc.gov.uk/school-admissions/nearest

Our school accommodation allows us to offer places to sixty children each year. Most years we have spaces for some children from neighbouring areas.

Children will be admitted to the Reception class in the September after a child's fourth birthday. There is a phased induction process at the start of term, with some of the younger children attending part-time if parents prefer, leading to full-time attendance by the October half-term.

The school’s admission policy is that of Buckinghamshire County Council which manages the admission process. If the number of applications exceeds sixty, Buckinghamshire County Council uses its criteria to decide which children are to be offered a place at Juniper Hill. Full details of this are available on the County Council website:

Applications for Reception places for September 2024 had to be made by the 15th January 2024.
